His admiration for guitar great Eric Johnson led him to Austin, TX, where he honed his style while collaborating on multiple albums. Mike Kindred, blues piano virtuoso and composer of multi-platinum SRV hit “Cold Shot,” has called Eric “an original blues voice,” and “prodigiously talented.”

"Life is timing" explains Eric meeting Buddy Miles in Austin that led to a somewhat surreal, but enlightening west coast tour. It made clear Eric was on a path with a purpose-  and he hasn't stepped off the pedal since.
